A Brand Champion

AWARDS

Recognition is the reflection of consistent creative excellence.
Here’s a sampling of my award-winning work: since joining Arlington ISD, my designs have earned 22 Gold Awards, 5 Silver, and 1 Bronze from the Texas School Public Relations Association, including 3 Best of Category honors. I’ve also contributed to numerous award-winning projects led by other team members. Each recognition represents thoughtful storytelling, strong visual communication, and the collaboration that brings ideas to life.

Best of Category – Advertising
Designed a billboard series celebrating Arlington ISD’s Class of 2024, featuring graduates from each high school. The campaign doubled as an enrollment initiative with the tagline “You Could Be Next.” Bold portraits and typography captured the pride and excitement of commencement while inspiring future students to envision their own success.

Best of Category – Print Materials in a Language Other Than English
Designed a trilingual set of promotional flyers for the P-TECH biomedical pathway at Bowie High School. Created in English, Spanish, and Arabic, the materials ensured accessibility for families across the district’s diverse community. Each version maintained visual consistency while adapting to cultural and linguistic nuances, helping families better understand and engage with the program.

Best of Category – Image/Identity Package
Venture High School’s students are known for resilience and determination, earning their diplomas through second chances and hard work. The new Vipers identity captures that spirit with bold typography, sharp lines, and a fierce mascot that embodies strength and pride. The full package included multiple logo formats, a defined color palette, and a brand style guide to ensure consistent use across apparel, signage, and school materials.

Gold Award – Posters
Creative humor and clear messaging made these poster designs stand out. The “Stay One Cow Apart” social distancing poster was created during COVID for agricultural students, using a lighthearted tone to remind them to maintain safety while tending to animals. The Risk Management Safety Series (2023) continued that playful approach, pairing bold graphics and memorable phrases to promote workplace safety. Both campaigns proved that humor, when used thoughtfully, can make important messages stick.
